Crimson has always considered it important to develop and maintain good relations and a positive reputation in the communities in which we live and work.
We actively support local charities and causes through donations, gifts in kind and by encouraging our staff to be involved in volunteering initiatives.
We also invest in our local communities through the Crimson Foundation.
• Schools that would like to support disadvantaged students by providing them with the information and skills they need to make a more positive start to their working lives beyond the classroom.
• Support groups, clubs or other youth-related projects within the community that encourage children and young people to recognise their own talent to help them raise their aspirations and achievements.
The Crimson Foundation is a national charity and works on a national basis. However, as this is an initiative in its infancy, many of our projects currently support children and young people in the West Midlands area based on our own geographical location, and we are actively looking to extend this.
In order to have a significant impact on the lives of children and young people in our communities, like any charitable concern the Foundation requires funding. We are currently funded by:
• A direct donation of a percentage of the profits of the Crimson Group of Companies.
• Funds raised through organised events such as Golf Days, Fun Runs and other initiatives, usually organised by Crimson staff who donate their own time for the purpose.
The success of these events depends on those individuals and organisations who support us with gifts and promotional items, as well as the goodwill of the many people who give so much of their time.
