Business Analyst – SAP FICO/P2P/AP tools – London/Remote

Business Analyst required for a global organisation. The client is looking to implement a new Esker platform and are looking for an experience Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis for the initial phase. The right person will have strong SAP FICO, P2P and Accounts Payable (AP) experience, particularly around AP workflow tools such as Esker, Ariba or Coupa. You will also be the bridge between the technical teams and the business, being able to provide instructions to technical teams and ensure you combat any issues around the implementation.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Strong experience with AP workflow tools like Esker, Ariba, or Coupa, including system integration and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience with SAP FICO module (financial accounting and controlling)
- Experience in AP process automation and integration with SAP and other AP tools.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Experience with the deployment of new company codes and integrations in SAP.
- Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams to deploy new company codes in Esker and SAP.
- Oversee the integration and mapping of AP invoices between Esker and SAP systems through MuleSoft.
- Collaborate with technical teams to configure and optimize BAPI programs for automated invoice postings in SAP.
- Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) efforts, including identifying and building UAT test cases, test scripts, and conducting end-to-end testing.
- Perform gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements, particularly for AP workflows and invoice processing automation.
- Create functional specifications, test cases, and traceability matrices to ensure thorough testing and validation of system changes.
- Coordinate testing activities related to Esker integrations and BAPI program configurations.
- Provide post-deployment support to business users and assist in troubleshooting any issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and training materials.
