Project Manager – Data Centre Migration / Supplier Management – London

Outside IR35

Hybrid – x1-2 a month onsite

Project Manager required for a leading client based in London. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in previously managing a data centre migration, particularly around managing a partner/supplier and ensuring they are on track and complete the delivery of the migration. The client are a global organisation, so they’re ideally looking for someone with experience of global delivery and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders. If you are an organised, results-oriented professional who’s keen to get involved and highlight the challenges and success of the project, then this could be the one for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for data centre migration projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Extensive Data centre migration experience – particularly around managing a partner and ensuring they complete the migration, while also supporting the business.
  • Strong supplier management is essential for this role
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure engineers, network specialists, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and mitigate risks, making proactive adjustments to project plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and company policies during migration processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their requirements and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Ability to support the business and be able to help where needed, while also being able to highlight risks and ensure you work with the business and supplier to mitigate it.
