Diversity isn’t a policy. It’s how we think
Inclusion isn’t a moment. It’s a practice.
Over the last few years, we’ve made a conscious effort to reshape our leadership team. Our exec forums, risk boards, and operational leadership now reflect a much more balanced picture than they did – and that balance is shaping how we think about strategy, how we make decisions, and how we grow.
We’re actively developing the next generation of leaders within Crimson, with a clear commitment to ensuring those pathways are open to everyone.
One of the most meaningful changes we’ve made is how we give our people a voice
Our Employee Action Group brings together representatives from across the business – every team, every level – to focus on real challenges, shape working practices, and drive inclusion from within. It’s where we bring live business problems and ask our people what they think. That’s where some of our best answers have come from.
The group has a dedicated focus on diversity, equity and inclusion as a standing agenda item, covering LGBTQIA+ awareness, gender equity, disability, and ethnic diversity. Monthly awareness sessions and external speakers are part of the programme, including events for Pride Month and other calendar moments that matter to our people.
Inclusion starts before someone joins
Our recruitment process uses structured scorecards and a deliberate approach to who’s in the room when decisions are made. We aim to ensure no hiring decision is made through a single lens. That means diverse interview panels, consistent evaluation criteria, and feedback for every candidate.
We also run regular mock interviews, CV workshops and psychological assessments – both for our own recruitment and as part of our outreach to schools and colleges. Getting into a tech career shouldn’t depend on who you know.

Inclusion isn’t a moment. It’s a practice.
We take our responsibilities seriously in how we support people with different needs – whether that’s adjusting working practices, ensuring accessibility, or creating space for individuals to show up as themselves.
We run diversity and inclusion training for employees and managers, alongside inclusive language and allyship initiatives to build awareness across the business. This isn’t a one-time thing. It’s ongoing.
